Board
EMSEA is governed by a Board of Directors and an Advisory Board.
 
The Board of Directors oversees all the operational activities in EMSEA. Its duties and responsibilities are determined by the government regulations on international non-profit associations (AISBL) and the bylaws of EMSEA.  The Advisory Board consists of the legal founders of EMSEA . They provide advice and assistance to the Board of Directors.

As from this year, members of EMSEA can apply for a position in the EMSEA Board of Directors. The Board of Directors oversees all the operational activities in EMSEA.

We are pleased to announce that the following positions are vacant:
  •     Secretary
  •     Treasurer
  •     Webmaster
  •     Communication officer
  •     Fundraising officer
  •     Membership officer

The EMSEA Board invites eligible members to send their application for these positions no later than 14th September 2018. These positions are for a term of 2 years and are on a voluntary basis.

The duties and responsibilities of the Board members are determined by the bylaws of EMSEA and the government regulations on international non-profit associations (AISBL). As EMSEA encourages innovation, the functions in the Board are not limited to the description in the Bylaws.

Nominations are also possible during the General Assembly (4th October) in case the position is not filled by 3th October 2018. However, please note that in this case only candidates present during the General Assembly are eligible for election.
